Esenkıyı Shipyard performs structural steel renewal, modular fabrication, and precision metalworking operations within enclosed and open production zones, maintaining a steel processing capacity of up to 5 tons per day. All procedures are executed in accordance with ISO 3834-2 and EN 1090-2 standards and governed by certified WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Record) documents.
Our welding capabilities include MIG/MAG (GMAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), and TIG (GTAW) for aluminum, copper, duplex, stainless steel, and other non-ferrous alloys, all matched to specific material groups and positional requirements.
In steel renewal projects, we apply on-site temperature monitoring, distortion control strategies, post-weld correction techniques (e.g., flame straightening), and magnetic field minimization methods. Plates are selected according to EN 10025 (S235, S355) or ASTM A131 (Grade A, B, AH36) standards and are inspected via laser measuring tools for dimensional control.
All welds are evaluated according to ISO 5817 quality standards and verified through NDT procedures including UT, RT, MT, and VT, performed by certified personnel.
Esenkıyı Shipyard provides high-level technical capability and quality-driven production for both conventional steel structures and complex alloy applications.
