Piping Installation and Equipment Works

Esenkıyı Shipyard possesses high technical competence in piping systems and auxiliary outfitting works, supported by operational experience gained in both newbuilding and retrofit projects. Our shipyard operates in accordance with class-approved production and installation procedures aligned with the rules of IACS member classification societies such as Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas, and RINA.

Our manufacturing infrastructure supports a broad range of piping solutions for low- and high-pressure lines, including materials such as carbon steel, AISI 316L, AISI 904L, CuNiFe, SMO 254, and super duplex alloys. Systems utilizing GRE and Geberit components are installed using specialized assembly techniques, including vacuum piping and insulated line applications. From isometric drawing to prefabrication, all stages are executed within an ERP-controlled quality management system.

In seawater-exposed pipelines, material selection is aligned with cathodic protection strategies. Fuel transfer, ballast, sprinkler, HVAC, and hydraulic systems are designed based on pipe diameter, wall thickness, welding type, and test pressure parameters. Throughout the fabrication process, NDT techniques such as PT, RT, UT, and VT are applied, and all systems undergo hydrostatic pressure testing.

We are equipped with advanced machinery for pipe bending, flanged joints, TIG/MIG welding, and orbital welding, enabling the production of long-lasting, low-maintenance systems for ships and offshore structures.
