Esenkıyı Shipyard delivers advanced fault diagnostics, modernization, and field service capabilities for shipboard electrical and automation systems. Our in-house technicians are skilled in PLC-controlled systems, motor drive circuits (VFD), main engine alarm and monitoring systems, generator synchronization panels, and energy distribution infrastructures.

Switchgear servicing includes testing of Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB), and insulated busbars in accordance with IEC 60947 standards. Additionally, insulation resistance (Megger) tests, ground continuity verifications, harmonic distortion analysis, and infrared thermal imaging inspections are routinely conducted.

In automation systems, communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and CANBus are analyzed, reprogrammed, and commissioned. Retrofit applications in the field include the replacement of obsolete control panels with modern HMI interfaces and full adaptation of PLC software as per onboard requirements.

Our shipyard offers integrated solutions for a wide range of onboard systems, from energy management systems to engine room automation (AMS), from bridge alarms to UPS backup infrastructure. All operations are documented and certified in accordance with the reporting and verification requirements of relevant classification societies.
